What is child labor ?
Child labor had a big impact in the United States. All children in the United States in all families had to work. Kids didn't attended to school and didn't had a education kids didn't know there A.B.C and didn't know how to read at all .Kids wanted to go to school but they were obligated to work.
Children in child labor work in hard places and in very bad conditions places like garment factories ,firecracker factories ,carpet and much more . they work in cold places and unsanitary. They work for many hours and they receive no pay or not the amount of money they should be receiving .They work for 12 to 18 hours a day ,six days a week. Many of the kids began to work before the age of 7 . Some of the kids die from all the chemicals they inhale and some of them suffer of lung and kidney diseases . Kids that work where kids that didn't came from a healthy family and had to help there parents by working. A daily life for a kid back then in the 1800's and 1900's was waking up super early and coming back home late and super tired .By the 1830's laws prohibited children to work in factories yet child labor continued in rural communities.

ReplyDeleteChelsea has the right Idea. This isn't all true. where did you get the impression that everyone had to work? The President wasn't a slave driver. There were well to do families in which children had childhoods.
